The heart of the system is the radial impeller, which draws in both heated indoor air and fresh outdoor air. This air is passed through a mixing chamber, an air filter and a heating coil before being returned to the hall.
The heating coil is connected to a heat pump package on the roof, which heats or cools the passing air as required.
At very low temperatures below freezing, an additional electronic reheating coil can be used to cover peak loads. A particular advantage of the LK GCS warm air heater is its ability to generate 100% of its heat from outside air.
This avoids the consumption of fossil fuels, which reduces operating costs and at the same time meets the requirements of the Climate Protection Act – a sustainable and future-proof solution for hall heating.
