Energy-efficient hall heating through innovative technology
Energy efficiency – sustainability – low operating costs: With state-of-the-art condensing and hybrid technology, the RBW warm air heater from LK Metallwaren sets standards in its product segment. Used decentrally and installed on the ceiling, it draws in the rising waste heat from the hall, filters it and returns the purified air to the hall at a combustion chamber and via the heat exchangers, without creating drafts. This heats the air to the desired room temperature. The optimized heat exchange increases the efficiency of the system – in terms of calorific value – to up to 99 percent. Moreover, by tapping the thermal cushion under the hall ceiling, the temperature difference at height can be reduced to a minimum.
Hybrid technology “Made by LK Metallwaren” The RBW warm air heater is heated with liquid gas. Heat pumps or solar air collectors can be used as an additional, resource-saving supplement. The intake outside air is heated and fed to the plant via a duct system. Technology “Made by LK Metallwaren” enables further heating cost savings of up to 30 percent.
Draft-free supply air distribution
The Thermovent mixed air distributor developed by our designers has two built-in low-pressure axial fans. They control the admixture of secondary air into the supply air flow, making use of the heat cushion under the hall roof. Due to the special arrangement of the axial fans, the main air flow of the decentralized hot air generator mixes with the secondary air flow. In this way, the heating of the supply air flow can be significantly reduced at the supply air distributor and a differential temperature to the room temperature that is up to fifty percent lower can be achieved.
Particularly in high halls, the reduced heating differential temperature allows the temperature gradient to be reduced noticeably. The admixed hall air warms the colder fresh air and thus significantly reduces energy consumption.
