Installed decentrally on the ceiling, the hot air generator uses the rising waste heat from the hall . The air drawn in is filtered, led past the combustion chamber, heated to the desired room temperature and fed back into the hall via the heat exchanger.
Thanks to optimized heat exchange, the system achieves a calorific value-related efficiency of up to 99 %.
Another advantage is the specially developed Thermovent mixed air distributor, which is equipped with two integrated low-pressure axial fans. These regulate the admixture of secondary air from the thermal cushion under the hall roof into the supply air flow.
Thanks to the clever arrangement of the axial fans, the main air flow of the warm air generator mixes optimally with the secondary air flow. This significantly reduces the heating of the supply air flow at the distributor, resulting in a differential temperature of up to 50 % lower than the room temperature. This significantly reduces the temperature gradient, particularly in high halls. In addition, the mixed hall air ensures that the colder fresh air is preheated, which sustainably reduces energy consumption.
The RBW warm air heater is mainly operated with liquid gas, an efficient and reliable energy source. In addition, it can also be operated as a hybrid with a share of up to 65 % of the heating load – via heat pumps or solar air collectors. These resource-saving technologies use renewable energy sources to support the heating output and significantly reduce energy consumption.
