Project management of the customer
As part of the expansion of an existing production line, three new repair cabins and additional production lines were to be equipped with state-of-the-art ventilation technology.
The challenge: limited space, high energy efficiency requirements for heating and cooling, customer specifications such as the use of Siemens motors – and all under a tight schedule.
LK Metall designed and supplied specially adapted LKPT compact systems that both heat and cool – with an air flow rate of 33,000 m³/h per system. The systems are equipped with pump hot water registers, integrated coolers and on-site heat recovery units (HRU).
The system technology enables temperatures of up to +70 °C for heating and up to +25 °C for cooling. All components were manufactured in accordance with the EC Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and designed precisely to meet customer-specific requirements.
The result: On schedule, efficient and exactly to specification
Despite high technical requirements and a tight timeframe, the project was successfully completed in around a year. Today, the high-quality, energy-efficient systems ensure a precisely conditioned room climate in the new repair cabins – and thus enable safe and consistent product quality.
