With the construction of its new logistics center, the clothing company Mister Lady faced the challenge of implementing a modern and climate-friendly hall heating system.
The system should
In addition, the system had to withstand the intensive operating conditions of the warehouse with around 15 million parts moved and 3,600 trucks loaded or unloaded every year. A particular challenge was that the architect, general contractor and consultant had differing views on the heating system to be used.
After analyzing the requirements, LK Metallwaren was awarded the contract for planning and implementing the heating solution. Two RBW 125 warm air heaters with modulating Weishaupt gas blower burners were installed in each hall. The units draw in the rising warm air under the hall ceiling, filter it and return it to the room – with fresh air added or additional heating if required.
A stainless steel combustion chamber ensures durability and efficiency, while special air outlets and return air ceiling fans distribute the air evenly and draught-free throughout the room. The automatic PI differential temperature control with sensors at various heights ensures a constant temperature in the work area at all times.
