After a heating oil spill in a public building, the groundwater became heavily contaminated. The local administration was under great pressure to act in order to avert danger to the environment and the population as quickly as possible.
A quickly available, legally compliant and technically robust solution was needed to treat contaminated water professionally.
LK Metall reacted immediately and provided rental equipment for the transitional period so that the oil separation system could be put into operation immediately. At the same time, a permanent system was planned, manufactured and installed – consisting of:
