Climate-neutral heating and ventilation of halls
LogiMAT in March 2024
From 19.03. LogiMAT – the international trade fair for intralogistics and process management will take place as usual from March 1 to 21, 2024. As every year, the LK Metallwaren GmbH team will also be there. This time, the focus at the LK Metallwaren GmbH stand will be on climate-neutral hall heating and ventilation systems.
We will be presenting our CO2-neutral hall heating and ventilation systems at LogiMAT 2024. Our systems technology is used to heat and cool warehouses and logistics halls, true to our motto “For the sake of the climate”.

With the LK warm air generator GCS (Green Climate System) in combination with heat pumps, warehouses and logistics halls can be heated and cooled without fossil fuels. For example, for air heating in the hall can be installed a special heating and cooling coil, which is connected to a cascade of several connected heat pumps.
Heat pumps filled with R32 refrigerant or R290 natural refrigerant are used for this purpose. The integrated filter additionally ensures that the intake air is filtered throughout the entire air exchange and thus cleaned of dirt and dust particles.
The LK warm air heater can optionally be equipped with a mixed air unit, which supplies the hall with outside air. The operator can independently determine the proportion of outside and recirculated air to be introduced into the hall on a scale of 0 to 100 percent. During the heating period, for example during break times, intermittent ventilation can be carried out via an interval control system, thus saving considerable costs compared to continuous ventilation.
Alternatively, the LK hall heating and ventilation systems can also be operated using other non-fossil heat generators such as geothermal energy, wood chips or pellets. Even retrofits can be realized within a short time with little technical effort.
